This committee is not about getting rid of homework, so it shouldn't be called the Anti-Homework Crusade. We aren't even against homework, we just want to have a few no-homework days to help the environment. For this reason, I think we should change the name of this committee. You can post your suggestions in the discussion area. Once we get a new committee name, I will delete this section of the page.
My suggestion would be the "Homework-Free Day".
Derek
UPDATE: The new name (Homework-Free Day) has been chosen. I will not delete this section of the page, but instead just keep it up for reference.

Idea: Get 1 chopstick per day (good behaviour). When class gets 14, class gets no-homework day as reward.
Hela: If we have nobody in dungeon, and everybody did their homework, then we can get one chopstick.
Derek: We shouldn't do it for Math, Mandarin, and Band. We should do it for both Ms. Shea's and Miss Yee's class. We can get our reward if both Miss Yee and Ms. Shea think we behaved good today.
Ashi: Maybe we can have two choice s when we get 14 chopsticks: a party, or a no-homework day. (Unconfirmed)
In-Class Discussion of Wednesday, Dec. 16th, 2009
Updated Idea: Get 1-3 chopsticks per day (good behaviour). When class gets 15, class gets no-homework day as reward.
All new ideas contributed by Cassie and Derek.
In-Class Discussion of Monday, Dec. 28th, 2009
Updated Ideas:
0-3 chopsticks per day (according to our behaviour)
Points and chopsticks seperate
Reuse chopsticks
Get chopsticks from cafeteria
Put chopsticks in jar
For whole class (not individual people or groups)
Only for Ms. Yea's (Ms. Shea and Miss Yee's) classes. Math, ICT, Mandarin, and Band don't count.
Jar placed on Ms. Shea's desk
No secretly putting chopsticks; if you do that then you will get dungeon
We earn chopsticks the same way as we earn points.
Cassie will bring the jar.
At end of day, we get chopsticks
All ideas contributed by the whole group. Cassie and Ashi presented our proposal today.
Edited Proposal
Dear Ms. Yea,
We have an idea that is to earn chopsticks and get one day of no homework as a reward. We will be getting the chopsticks from the cafeteria. If we get 15, then we will get one day of no homework. To get a chopstick, the whole class has to complete all the homework, have nobody in Dungeon, and behave well. The class is allowed to get 1-3 chopsticks each day. This saves paper, ink, and pencils. This also saves energy because people have to go to academy and other lessons, so they won't have time to do homework. They end up doing it late at night, and when we do homework at night, we need to turn on the lights.
We hope you will consider our idea, and we look forward to it actually happening!
Sincerely,
The Homework-Free Day Team
Edited Proposal #2
Dear Ms. Yea,
We have an idea that is to earn chopsticks and get one day of no homework as a reward. We will be providing the chopsticks ourselves (Ashi). If we get 25 chopsticks, we will get one day of no homework. To get a chopstick, our class has two options: We can either get chopsticks for our behaviour and get one if everyone in the class does the homework we were given for the subject, (Derek) or, we can just do the one where we only get a chopstick just for nobody in Dungeon and if everyone does the homework from the subject. (Cassie, Hela) If we get no homework in the subject, we can not get a chopstick. This saves energy because people have to go to academy and other lessons, so they won’t have time to do homework. They end up doing it late at night. This is also wasting ink and paper.

Windows Live Messenger Group
Hi Guys!
I've been thinking about how we can discuss this in real-time, and I've decided that creating a group on Windows Live Messenger (or MSN, whatever you like to call it) would be a good way. Do you want to join the group? Follow these steps!
Go to www.passport.net , and create an account (preferably the messenger-only one, if you get a Hotmail account then you will also get an e-mail account). You will know if you have made the correct account if you get the email of example@passport.net (or example@hotmail.com). You will need this address to log in to MSN. (If you already have a Hotmail or Passport.NET account, skip to step 2.)
You will now need the Windows Live Messenger software. To install it, go to http://download.live.com/ , and download the install. Make sure you install the English version! Then, open the installer, and make sure you install ONLY Windows Live Messenger (unless you want the other junk). (If you already have this software, then skip to step 3.)
Now, you need to open Windows Live Messenger, and log in. After you log in, click the little buddy icon with a plus sign beside it (located near the top-right corner), and add a new contact. The contact that you will be adding is me; my Hotmail account is derekdongdong@hotmail.com . You might want to add a comment with your invitation, or else I might not know who you are. (If you already have me as a contact, then skip to step 4.)
After you add me as a contact, wait for me to accept your invitation. After I accept your buddy invitation, I will invite you to a group called "Homework-Free Day Team". Accept that invitation, and you're done!
To talk to the group, double-click the group icon.
